Since setting up business in Aberdeenshire in 1988 the Ironside Furniture Group have established an enviable reputation, from simple repairs to more complex restoration and conservation work. Our services range from design and manufacture of Bespoke Furniture - French Polishing - Lacquer Finishing - Wood Carving - Veneering - Chair Caning and Rushing work.

Our workshop is located in a converted steading in the village of
Finzean, in Aberdeenshire. We have a small, dedicated team of highly skilled craftsmen and women offering that personal service to meet your needs.

Bespoke Furniture

Enquiries are welcome for all types of
private and corporate commissions, including furniture, display cases, fire places and presentation pieces.

Pieces can be produced to your own design and specifications, or allow us to take control of the creative process to produce unique pieces of furniture for you.

Antique Restoration

We all have our much-loved pieces of furniture - be it a valuable antique family heirloom or a modern favourite.

Repair and restoration work is carried out on all types of wooden items from grandfather clocks, writing boxes, chairs, tables and toys. We sympathetically repair these items using traditional materials and techniques. 

Finishing

Applying the correct finish is always important. We offer a variety of options, French polish, lacquer, oil and commercial paint.
